Mortgage Marketing University – A New Chapter in Our Commitment to Helping Mortgage Professionals Grow Their Businesses

At Top of Mind, we are passionate about helping mortgage professionals succeed. Since our early days, we have made training and education an integrated part of our turnkey CRM solutions for the mortgage industry. For starters, our resource center includes an ever-growing collection of FAQs, videos, and weekly blog posts designed to answer lenders’ most common questions about mortgage marketing in general and using Surefire CRM in particular.

We took our commitment to education even further when we introduced our annual Surefire Summit in 2012. After nine straight years of running the summit as an exclusive, clients-only event, this past December we decided to make educational content from the Surefire Summit available industry-wide, on-demand, at no cost.

Give Surefire a Try!

The best way to find out what we offer is to try it out yourself. We’re confident that you’ll like what you see.

Now we are kicking off the new year with another momentous occasion in mortgage marketing: the official launch of Mortgage Marketing University (MMU). MMU is a safe place for marketing and lending professionals to learn — or brush up on — the fundamentals of mortgage marketing at their own pace. Whether or not you’re a Surefire client, your team is invited to take as many courses as you like at no cost.

The completely online curriculum spans a wide array of topics. Our 101- and 201-level courses cover the essentials of building an effective lead-generation strategy and offer a closer look at specific marketing channels like web, email, social media and print. Experienced practitioners will appreciate the opportunity to brush up on the basics and test their skills. In addition, these courses are a great starting place for mortgage executives and loan originators who are interested in gaining a better understanding of how integrated, multi-channel marketing works.

Our 301-level courses are a little more advanced but are still designed to be completed in a single sitting. Here, we explore best practices in building a marketing plan, ensuring mortgage compliance, managing a pipeline of new business leads and integrating with other mortgage technologies like loan origination software (LOS) systems and product pricing engines (PPE). We also have classes that teach lenders how to fine-tune their marketing approach for various origination channels such as retail, wholesale lender marketing and consumer direct lending.

Students interested in testing their knowledge can earn a certificate of completion for each course by passing a multiple-choice assessment. More importantly, MMU attendees will learn valuable skills they can put to work right away to derive greater ROI from Surefire CRM and turn their marketing team — whether it’s one person or 50 — into a lean, mean revenue-generating machine.

And, as always, lenders who are looking for more customized, 1:1 support can always reach out to the Surefire Professional Services team. Think of it as an on-call team of mortgage marketing experts, all of whom just happen to know Surefire CRM inside and out. Our engagements run the gamut from fully administering your marketing as an extension of your in-house team to one-off jobs like performing data cleanup, training new hires and building custom workflows.

P.S. If you prefer to do your studying offline, download the MMU companion eBook, which you can print or forward to a colleague.
